Ayurveda:

It is a traditional system of medicine that originated in India more than 2,000 years ago. The word comes from Sanskrit: āyus ("life") and veda ("knowledge" or "science"), so Ayurveda is often translated as "the science of life."

Ayurveda views health as a balance between the body, mind, and environment. A central concept is the 3 Doshas, which are thought to be fundamental energies in the body:

  • Vata — associated with movement, air, and space.

  • Pitta — associated with metabolism, digestion, and heat.

  • Kapha — associated with structure, stability, and water.

According to Ayurvedic theory, each person has a unique combination of these doshas, and illness can result when they become imbalanced.

Here’s a short video explaining about what it is.
